Is there any way to just... Quit?

So, after amassing a hundred or so Lady Knights I decided to finally get involved with one of the factions. Unfortunately, I chose the Nords, shortly before realizing that this was not a good choice for roleplaying reasons. As of now, I'm only a mercenary.

Unfortunately, the people I WANT to join (the Swadians), are at war with the Nords. This, as I see it, leaves me with a few options.

1: Find the claimant to the Swadian throne and support them.
Problem. Said Claimant is in Khergit lands, who the Nords are ALSO at war with (despite being on opposite ends of the country- go figure), and as such I cannot request an audience with her. Believe me, I tried.

2: Find the claimant to the Nord throne, give them my support and then ditch them.
While this does free me from my obligation to the Nords, it also means I've pissed off half the world and left myself entirely without support which, as situations go, is -to use the Great British Understatement- less than ideal. It also means permenantly removing that claimant, and I'm leery of doing something so... Permenant.

3:  Find the claimant to the Nord throne, give them my support and then follow through.
While again freeing me from my obligation to the Nords, this means I'm forced to conquer the Nords, who I'm trying to get LESS involved with, not more.

4: Become a Vassal of the Nords, then demand unreasonable amounts of plunder over the course of the campaign, prompting the High Jarl to sack me.
The first problem with this is that it again ties me closer to the Nords, as opposed to freeing me from them. Secondly, who to wage war against? The Khergits on the other side of the world, who are annoying to fight and whom I have no interest in ruling (because doubtless my request to own the first conquered castle or so WILL be granted)? Or the Swadians whom I'm trying to AVOID pissing off even further?

5: Attempt to enter service to one of the people neither the Nords nor the Swadians are at war with, then from there enter the service of the Swadians.
I... Honestly have no idea if this would even work. Would it?

6: Let my contract run out.
While apparently the simplest answer, this has a couple of problems. Firstly, it's a chore to wander around the land for so long. Secondly, by the time it has, I'll probably have been caught in a few more fights with Swadia. Thirdly, uncertainty- who knows what else might have happened by then?

Am I missing any options here? Thinking things through wrong? Overestimating how bad one outcome is? Because currently, it seems I've got nothing but bad options. So... Uh... Help?

Unfortunately, no. You gave your word of honor to serve for 3 months. I recommend hiding out at Tihr or Sargoth and just waiting and reading a book for like 20 minutes.

Damn. Guess I'm stuck amassing money in the tournemant scene and hunting for bandits & black knights. Still, knowing does mean it won't bug me for ages, so ta for that.

The solution is extremely simple:

Find the Nord King
Offer him your sword in vassalage
Talk to him again
Tell him you want to renounce your oath

Done, you are a free man.

And of course this will only work if the King actually wants you.

Yeah, and the nord lords won't exactly love you for being a quitter either.

I guess we were both kind of wrong, I just tried it and none of the lords that I talked to after I left the faction(I talked about 6 lords) had a drop in relation. EXCEPT for the king, I lost 20 relation with him when I renounced my liege.
I'm still not sure if you might get a relation penalty with lords that already dislike you, I have a vague memory that you do.

Meh, I was too lazy to check and now I stand corrected. But we both used the right words for the majority of our posts. Think positive

I recently lost 20 or 40 (can't remember) relation 'points' with two Lords, that already hated me, when Ragnar granted me Suno with both its villages. Came as a surprise but it's a nice touch that I haven't seen before.

I mean, it's nice that those Lords, who don't like you, get mad if you gain more and more influence and wealth (read: important fiefs).

can`t he just plunder nord caravans? will not that action get him fired?
Maybe, I'm not sure if you can even attack nords when you've got a contract with them.
I know I couldn't when I was a vassal and had 100 relation with both the kingdom and the high jarl
