Is there a way to transfer all game data?

Good Evening.

I know that you can export and import your characters across versions and from say 1 Pc to another. However i was wondering if there was a way to transfer the whole lot of data, thus allowing you to continue playing the full save of your game. Thus meaning that all the data not just your character is transfered, but everything. Im asking this because i have currently been playing a rather wonderful game of M&B on my laptop over the summer holidays, and now that i am back in rainy old england, with my power-house PC, i was wondering if i could move my whole saved game from my laptop to my PC. I understand if this is not possible, i would just like to if poss, be able to continue my game from the summer without having to start over on my main PC.

I have tried a quick search but found nothing, however if there is such a topic already please feel free to redirect me to said thread and i will also take any comments of "try searching properly next time" etc lol.

Go to the save games folder for your M&B, copy the relevant save file to a disc or flashdrive, plug it into your PC, then copy the save file into the same games folder for the M&B on your PC. That should work.

Try My Documents, M&B Save Games. That's where mine is.

It looks like the game settings are kept under this folder

C:\Documents and Settings\(USER)\Application Data\Mount&Blade
