Is there a way to make a Town or Castle untargetable by ai or otherwise making it unsiegeable

Hi, I'm having a problem bug-testing map performance because of a crash occurring when the ai or myself try to siege a certain set of towns. It's just for a temporary fix, as I think it might otherwise have to do with missing NavMesh.

I saw that the Calradia Expanded: Kingdoms mod made a town in the mod untargetable by the ai, and I wonder if that could be replicated as a temporary fix, until I find the error itself.
