Is there a way to increase taxes paid to you by a town?

I'm getting sick and tired of running all over the map winning tournaments, trying to selling swords and helmets like some common merchant and ransoming common footsoldiers, I own one of the wealthiest cities in the land and it's not even able to support a few knights with its taxes.

Is there a way I can edit the game so that my towns give more gold?

I have to say, the financial system in native is just horrible and the realism is next to zero, I have no trouble aquiring more than enough gold to keep my vast horde of knights, but unless I want to start cheating, it bores me to hell and back and prevents me focusing on important and fun things (like ****-kicking the vaegirs for demmanding said town).

Help greatly appreciated, didn't really find a tweak for this in the sticky in zendar (though yes I did see the merchant tweak, i'm after taxes mainly).

Urgh, ignore me, two seconds after hitting "post" I realise that one of the links in the mentioned sticky thread was simply meant something other than I thought (mainly what I asked about here), and the problem has been solved.
