Is there a way to have more than just your clan in your kingdom?

I've had some mild success with my own kingdom, but one of the other kingdoms has taken over %80 of the map and I don't have enough manpower between myself and my other 4 parties to combat them. I have noticed that other kingdoms have many clans inside of them. with this, I have seen armies of over 600 troops, and the most I have ever had in my army was a little over 400. why can't I/ is there a way to do the same and have multiple clans inside my own kingdom so I can have more troops?

When you're at war with a faction you are able to persuade clan members to leave their factions and join yours. This might work (I haven't tried it). I'm not sure of any other way

Enter dialogue with a lord from any faction who leads a clan
I've got something to discuss
What do you think of your liege
Persuade them to join by getting 4 Greens, the double greens give two as its a critical success
Barter a small fee
Their entire clan will join you
