is there a way to end war?

I am a Swadian vassal and constantly having war with two to three fraction. I constantly have to fight siege becoz my town is one of their favorite. And the war just don't stop  it seems that it never end.......

I am  wondering is there a way to stop war?

Universal peace isn't a very exciting alternative either! 

I'm going on 200 days straight now with my Swadian faction totally at peace. Chasing bandits and
becoming a "Trader Joe" can get so ****ing boring real quick. It is getting close to the point when I'll
have to take a hit on my relations and pick a fight with someone!
