And no Raptor has deciderd to let that mod die If I remember rightly

The holy war mod has nothing to do with Rome...The holy war is about the first or second crusade, if I'm not wrong?

Anyway, you should try Gladiator mod. It's for 0.808.
 
Wow...you people...he said the RTW mod. A little known mod made by someone I dont remember, and I'm really not sure if he will port it.

And i know the Gladiator mod, its so cool..

In Gladiator mod Your a slave..
In R.T.W. mod the map is the same, but with the Gauls, attacking Italy. And you are a commander of the Roman army, or you can be of the Gauls too, and you can conquest city's and villages..

There are lots of helms and gladius in each mod.. Very cool mods..

Yer RTW Mod was made by R-R Raptor65, he isn't going to port it, he spoke about this a few months ago if i remember rightly. but Gladiator mod is a good successor of RTW MOD 
 
Jglx is right, if its get updated. It is not nice you can't recruit legio's and can't get free. If that is updated, gladiator mod will be even better then RTW.
 
The RTW mod and Gladiator are two entirely different mods, the only thing in common is that they take place in the Roman Empire.

In Gladiator, you are a gladiator and most of the fighting is done in the arena. Rome is not in war and there are no real enemies, unless you go Spartacus.

In RTW mod, on the other hand, you are a free man, working either for the Gauls, the Romans or just yourself if you wish. You can build up an army, conquer enemy cities and eventually destroy your enemies almost completely, after which the game is just about hunting outlaws n' stuff.

Certainly, I love both, but it does not change the fact that they are not quite much comparable. Then again, every mod is unique in it's own ways.
 
Mannnnnn i wish he could of ported oh well

guess i'll try out that other mod you speak of.
