Is Sergeant mode still in the works?

Two years ago, we got a look at some serious game play with the sergeant mode recordings released at E3 2017. 




My Question is whether this is a game mode that will only be in single player, whether it will be reserved for when we move to early access, or whether we might see Sergeant mode in the beta before the end of the month.  Part of me thinks this may have been scrapped, but I'd like to think that this is something that is right around the corner for those in the beta.

The sergeant system is a single player feature. It is used to determine which lords command what units of an army and how they act during battle.

The feature seems to have been renamed "order of battle". This is the dev blog about it.
