Is it wise to export my whole scene (building set) as a prop? (performance wise)

So.. Warband in game scene editor.. not my favourite.

the way it works is i create a prop, say, a house, and then exports said prop and then arrange it in the scene editor, which feels clunky

theorically, i can just arrange my houses on my 3d editor, and then export the whole scene as a single prop, and then, in the scene editor, all thats left to do is adjust the elevation so it matches my scene

so, i probably can do that, but i don't know which warband will prefer:

20k poly on a seperate props; 20k poly on a single prop

or maybe it has no effect?

Optimization . If you create whole map as prop you cannot create lods.


Also, map needs Many textures, prop can use one?( fix me if im wrong)
