Is it possible to become a king of a kingdom, by becoming a vassal and waiting the king to die or something like that...

No. The king doesn't die anyway. And there's no inheritance system. And why would you succeed the king? Makes no sense, not unless you seize power, which may well lead to civil war.

Meh, most of them allow recruiting lords, which is probably what the OP was going for.

In certain mods, you can manage your own kingdom, and get vassals yourself.

Native Expansion is one.

Lords & Realms is another.

Sword of Damoclès, too.


But I've never seen a King die. They just disappear if their faction is crushed.
