Title. There are a bunch of "tiny factions"(for lack of a better word) in the game. Like the order of the Embers of The Flame.
In my last game I slaughtered them all as I was a vassal to someone, but is there any way to get these people to work for/with me if i'm an independent clan?
I'm trying to find a way to muster troops to take a city without becoming a vassal of one of the greater kingdoms, or without waiting ages to get the party size and companion parties to do it all myself.
I feel like hiring these factions as sell-swords or partners (maybe I could promise them their own castle - much like the real world Hospitallers got a few in the Holy land) would be a good / fast way to do that as an independent clan, as they're already well equipped [provided you have the rep, social skill levels or cash].
