Is it possible for you to be indicted for treason?

I know it happens fairly often with AI lords when their relation with their king drops too low, but I am wondering if you the player can also get it.

My kingdom is broken, my fault we expanded too quickly and I didn't have time to get enough lords. We lost all of our lands except my home in Reyvadin. I only had 2 lords who were not imprisoned, but their parties are too small to help meanwhile I was at war with the Rhodoks (largest faction currently) Sultinate, Swadians, and Khergits.

With my garrison dwindling from constant sieges and a massive Rhodok army at my walls I sent a message to Graveth to swear to him to get me some breathing room. Unfortunately I had no chance to really recover fending off the attacks from the other three kingdoms and I had no intention of serving under Graveth because he was also at war with the other three so I wouldn't really be safe so I joined the one kingdom not at war with anyone... the Vaegirs.

Problem is Yargolek really doesn't like me. For whatever reason despite my joining them and my relation with all other factions reverting to 0 the siege from the Swadians continued until I fought them off (in siege not in field) and next time I talked to Yargolek he blathered on about attacking them and provoking war and threatened to indict me on the spot... I also lost what little relation I had gained with him by swearing to him.

So is it possible that my efforts to retain my home were futile? If my relation drops any lower will he toss me out on my butt? (currently -21 and he wont give me any tasks)

I don't think the player can get indicted for treason. All that will happen is that you can't get land from him. I would suggest get relations up with him and the other lords so when you go to war you can claim some more towns. Although, depending on how well the Swadians are doing they might declare war and then you have to defend you place again, but this time you have other people fighting and only one faction to deal with.

Easier said than done zepperith. I went ahead and played another 2 months of in game time. Still not tasks from him, he never leaves Wercheg so I cant exactly come to his aid, he hasn't thrown a single feast or congratulated me on any of my victories. I have reclaimed some of their lands when they went to war with the Khergits and when I asked who he thought should get a fief and told him I would support his choice instead of gaining relation with him and that lord he accused me of being up to something and told me to go tell that lord myself that I support him... He is being a royal pain in the butt.

I don´t think it´s possible. I cheated to get me a -99 relationship with King Graveth once, also raised my controversy up to 99 and nothing happend.

Funny I touched into this topic a few weeks ago. You can't "betray" your lord and defect else where with your fiefs either. Excluding of course founding a new kingdom after being denied a fief. (Or taking up the cause of the pretender/claimant of your current faction.)

A married female character can defect simply by convincing her husband that either he or she should be ruler of all Calradia.  They both keep all their fiefs.

There is that.
