Is AI lord party sizes affected by troop wages?

Is there a relationship between troop wages and AI lord party sizes? If I raise or decrease the effect of the leadership skill in reducing troop wages, do AI lords benefit from that or only the player?
 
No, AI hero reinforcements via cf_reinforce_party for lord parties cost 300/450/600 depending on difficulty, if their size are below a certain ideal (see script_hire_men_to_kingdom_hero_party). Their ideal party size are determined by 10+(leadership*5)+charisma+(renown/25); if they are the leader an additional 100, with 20 more for being marshall (can be the same lord), an additional 20 for each castle (not town) they own, and a level-scaling multiplier which is (1+[player lvl/80]) applied after the above calculations. These are all in script_party_get_ideal_size.
 
In other words, AI lord troop recruitment and sizes are completely unaffected by the wage and food restrictions for players?

yes.. they "cheat" or "act" (choose your preference).  This is one part of the game mechanics that I don't like: player following different rules.
 
Thanks for the quick responses. I don't like this either. I would have preferred a more...elaborate economic system that subjected players and AI lords to the same supply/recruitment restrictions. I think this would have added another new dimension to the strategic component of the game.
