Sergeant at Arms

Maybe some of you have heard about Iron Grip: Warlord - an amusing FPS with a twist of RTS or much rather tower defence. And all of that in a steampunk universe. Much to my appeal. Similarly to M&B they have a 'demo' version on their site for download wich can be registered to the full version. The demo alone is still playable in both singleplayer and multiplayer, only restricted to one map. The multiplayer servers are sadly rather empty.
Now there is Iron Grip: Lords of Atelia. You can find it here at http://iglords.isotx.com. It is a browser game in the same steampunk universe, taking place in the time after the conflict in IG: Warlord. What makes it even more fun for me - the game is in a closed beta-stage and one can be a part of its balancing. There are frequent updates and the game is playable without any sense of incompleteness. There are already several powerful aliances and quite a few independent players, struggling for greatness and power. The application for the beta follows automatically when you register for the game (you only need your e-mail). I don't suppose that will be a problem, as the developer(s) should be glad to have as much players as possible. In my case I got the confirmation e-mail several hours later. So, if anyone is looking for a cool browser game - as they say - the more the marrier. I am planning to start a roleplaying alliance there, so if anyone would be interested could send me a PM here.
