I made that post well over a year ago, a year before the true final version came out. I'm playing 1.13 right now, and... I have to say I'm very disappointed that this issue was never fixed. I was making a relevant point about the historical accuracy of the Irish banners, and it seems like I was completely ignored. This means the newest version of the mod still has the wrong banners for O'Neill and McCarthy, even though they had the correct banners in older versions (like 0.97). The red hand with the green background is especially irksome, as no one ever had that coat of arms, and it is showing up all over Europe on knights that wear green cloth or ride horses with the same.
Looks like my temporary fix for that problem will have to be a permanent fix for my own version unless I or someone else wants to take the time to correct the banners.
The mod still has all of the things that make it great. It's still an absolute blast to play, and it seems like many of the issues that were in older version have been dealt with. But it is very disappointing to see a relevant problem just completely ignored, even more so since this mod has ended development. That means the only way to fix any remaining issues is to do it myself or if someone makes a submod.
