Yeah, the game mode is "Hunter becomes the prey" or just "Beast hunt".
Basicly everyone else, but one or two guys, get some clothes on and wield only ranged weapons and arrows. They're called the hunters.
The 1/2 guy who're left gets naked and he may only carry one melee weapon. He/them is the beast.
The Hunters try to kill the beast, and propably succeed many times over, but if the beast gets a kill, the killed hunter becomes the beast and the old beast becomese a hunter.

In the map of scene6 this is very fun, for there are many places for the beast to hide and take cover from the arrows and bolts of those who hunt.

Yeah, it was fun. Might make a separate thread for it, to let everyone in on it. I still can't get over the fact that at the end, I managed to take out a full hunting party of four men. First I killed Weren, said it was my last life and then I'd leave, Weren switched to take over from me, I ran around a bit, saw them trying to take the wall ruin, dodged my way in before they made it all the way up the steps and and hack, slash, slice. Triple kill. Such a great way to end a night.

Well, with the secret map still playing on the server, we'll probably be doing this for a while, every now and then. If it starts feeling old, we might switch to something new. Anyway, you see people on the server, just hop on.

Hey, sorry to the guys I just kicked off the server. I was changing some settings and kinda assumed no one was on >_> you can rejoin now. Also sorry if it was lagging, had to do some important stuff on the computer. I've set up the server now as follows (due to some limitations):

Death match (not duel)
No bots
Map changes every day to a new hidden map

Please can everyone take note that people might be playing hunt on the server as seems popular. For hunt rules see here:

Sorry to cut hidden map week short but I'm going to shut down the IRC server over Christmas.

With the release of the newest version of Warband I thought it was a good opportunity. There are several important things I need to do on my computer which require the connection and I'm also going to implement a lot of new features into Yoshibot (the IRC clan bot, which can perform various cool stuff) and integrate him into the working of the server as much as possible. Thanks to everyone who's been playing on it. We'll be back up soon.

Hey, could any IRC send me a PM or just reply here how they got multi_scene_5 working? It doesnt appear under the adminchangeable maps. I added the addmap multi_scene_5 in the sample.txt.

I didn't set it up, but it has to do with I think manually setting it up into the sever. You can't change it from the in-game admin change thing.

Arch3r - You can make the server play it by using the "set_map" command but the server wont cycle through it in a normal set up (using addmap) and admins on the server also cannot change to it. The only way to make it play is again to use the "set_map" command and then "start".

I'm sorry, but isn't plugging your own clan in another clan's topic complete and utter bull****? Not that I take clanning very seriously, of course, but just saying that when I would play on clan CS servers (because pubs suck) way back in 2000, there was always a rule about "if you try to recruit here, you're banned." Whatever happened to tradition and courtesy? I do say that makes you couple of has-beens representatives of the most dishonorable clans I've seen so far!
