I get this problem too. However,I get tiny numbers in place of the mouse,so at least I can play,..as long as I can locate the numbers. What I CANT do,..is get out of the Map once I am in it! Even if I do click on any town,I cant transport there either.I cannot for the life on me figure that one out.So,..I just gave up.It sits on my desktop unused,..two characters both stuck in Map mode. Anyone got ideas there? Lol!

Basicly try found an update of your mouse driver who work with Seven . Seems some mouse not work well with Warband when you don't have the last compatibility drivers mouse for Seven .

With modern LCD screens with high resolution the text and icons are often on the small side, so it is usual for people like me who no longer have 100% vision to select larger text size and icons on Windows 7, but this has been found to cause the mouse pointer to become invisible when playing Warband, (may be the same in Vista).
If this is the case with you, then right click the screen before running Warband, select Personalize from the menu, then at the lower left you will see "display". Select this and you will see you can have smaller, medium and larger text size, then select the smaller size whilst playing Warband and this should fix the problem.
You could also try the medium size instead of smaller, that actually works OK for me, but large text causes my mouse curser to go pretty quick playing Warband, so try small first, and if OK, try medium which could be a compromise that works.
Hope this is clearer to understand.

I play  on windows XP SP 2 and I have the same problem, but i use small icons and i still have this problem. The smallest text size i can have is normal ( if i looked in the right place, i'm not good at these kinds of things ). Is there anyone who can help a XP user?

Looks like there may be a few possible causes, so I would try the below:

1) Update your Graphics Card drivers.
2) Install latest Direct X (Shiney new June 2010 release).

Another post suggested playing with the mouse pointer trails option, and another generally buggering around with the mouse visibilty settings.

Good luck

Old post, but still a problem today.

My old mouse died and i recently bought a new one, a Logitech m500.
My old mouse was a logitech as well, but a different version.

With my old mouse I had no problems at all. But with this new mouse the mouse cursor flickers in the game mount and blade warband, and also in fire and sword. When I dont move the mouse, the cursor is not visable at all. When I move it, it becomes visable, but with a lot of flickering.

I run a dual boot system. On Windows 7 prof, 32 bit I have this problem. But when I boot up on my Windows XP and play these games I have no mouse cursor issues at all.

So its a mouse driver issue for sure. But there are no new mouse drivers for the Logitech m500 for windows 7.
I looked at the suggestions here about the font size and the playing in windowed mode, but those dont solve the problem for me. Font size is still at normal, and while in windowed mode the flickering and disappearing of the cursor is still happening.

anyone found a sollution for this yet?

Hello everyone.

Old topic but i figured to use it anyway i hope i can get a solution from here.

I play Warband on a Macbook Pro, Os X 10.9.2, using the latest version of Crossover, but i keep having this bug that makes it impossible to play.

Every time i get in a battle, after it my mouse cursor in the game disappear. SO to make it back again, i have to quit the game and open again.. Anyone have a possiblem solution for me????

Thanks.
