hey all ive been a lurker here for a while, decided today to join so that i could post. some of you may recognize me from totalwar.org as well.

a little about me

i am 15 years old live in canada and do actually sword fight in real life (though its mostly wooden practice swords). some other games i play are Fable, Morrowwind, MTW and RTW to name just a few.

oh and here is a pic of me (on the right) and my friend taken about a week ago.

nope i only go on the TWC for dl's and such must be someone else.

Hey Octavian are you any good a sword fighting?and where did you get that armor?

well most of my friends that i spar with consider me good at sword fighting, but i reckon i wouldn't stand a chance against anyone with actual training. the armour was purchased at a Renaissance Festival near my house as well as at a leather working store. unfortuneately its not very cheap so our (my friends and i) collection of armour is growing fairly slowly (couple pieces every year). the main item on the wishlist right now http://www.southtower.on.ca/armour/HeavyGothic08'04Sm.jpg is that its made by south tower armoury (who also make one of the best cold forged steel swords i have ever seen, it can actually cut through a brick without suffering damage. or at least thats what the guy who makes them say )
