heh, yeah. PC Powerplay also has Elder Scrolls: Arena on it too... so I'm currently in Free Roaming RPG heaven...

Arena? Bah, got that ages ago when it was first released as freeware. XD My computer is too slow to handle/emulate it playably though (?!). Darn non-DOS-supporting-having-to-use-DOSBox Win XP... *shakes fist*

Ahh, the obligatory introductions thread.

Hi all, new addict to the game here. Currently killing hours finding new ways to stay alive without gaining experience, just so I can hang on to my sub-6th level characters that much longer. Can't wait until the Buy page says Paypal payments are accepted again.

The combat is wonderful, the graphics are easy on the eyes and functional to boot, the animations are spectacular, and the gameplay stands alongside classics like Pirates! and Elite.

Well, that's my gushing praise done. I think it's time I got back to kitting out myself, Marnid and Borcha in matching gear...

Even though I've been around for a few months now, I'd like to say thanks to armagan and ipek for a great, playable game with a good concept and for continued feedback into future aspects of the game and general all-around level-headedness, to every member of the development team, their pets dogs and their unborn children, to the people who love this game so much that they are already modding for it, to pavlov and Nairagorn for taking the time out of their (I'm sure) busy social lives to keep all you miscreants in line, and to you miscreants yourselves, who, although can get as silly and inane as any forum community, are, on the whole, a good bunch to chat to.

May you live in interesting times.

Thank you Llandy, and umm... yeh.. VERY buisy social life... yeh.. you know I can like.. hardly find the time to spend the whole day doing nothing but drinking and reading this forum. I don't know how i'm going to cope when college pops up.

ohh yeh. I love you guys.

Hi everyone.

Some may know about me but please let me introduce myself.

I'm a Japanese graphic designer who has just finished university. I've also got a degree in history back in Japan (My thesis was about socio-economic impact of fashion in Elizabethan England, boring).

This game is perhaps the best game I've ever played. It's beautiful. Especially the horses... I remember watching them running for ages when I first played. Horse watching is still my major passing-time activity in game. They're just beautiful and elegant...

Game balance is nice and realistic too, in my opinion.

It's so wonderful that I decided to make it as a graphic novel. I'm not sure if it succeed, and everyone would agree the final work. But it's the best thing I can do to contribute.

Please visit the thread and give me some advice, or suggestion.

Greetings to everyone.

It was by pure chance that I happened upon this game, someone at some other web site mentioned this game in one of their reviews of some mmorpg I was reading up on, so I decided to come right over since he seemed very enthusatic about this game.

He was right, the game has turned out to be very good.

I've played it for three days or so now, payed for the full version yesterday or the day before and I've been enjoying myself competely.

The game has the feel of Darklands and Rings of Medusa, two games I enjoyed very much.

The realism with which the combat was enfused is what makes the game so good. If Morrowind and other games had used such a combat system, those games might have actually had a longer shelf life for me. Don't be surprised if professional game developers start copying your game style.

You guys added the right combination of elements to keep the game balanced and challenging. I have no idea what other options you plan to add to the game, but I look forward to them.

I must say, it is very satisfying to ride around on a horse and being chased by several bad guys, also on horse back, and shooting a few arrows at their horses to see their horses crumble to the ground and slide forward with the riders tumbling along with them. You guys added just the right elements of realism to make this game pretty darn perfect.

Thanks and I hope you guys are very finacially successful with this game, because you deserve it!

As with many others, I got the demo with PC powerplay, bought it as soon as possible, and am currently in heaven. Thank you developers (all two of you) for making one of the most addictive games I've ever played.

I got my demo from PC powerplay to.
All i can say is that i have had to shelve battlefield 2 for the time being.
I lasted about one and a half hours after reaching level 6 before doing the inevitable. Great game keep up the awesome work!

Hi,

my name is Tamas, I live in Budapest, Hungary. I'm 25, I'm an accountant.

I read a post in a Hungarian PC-game website, and thought I'd give this game a try. My first move was the training, which I finished in one flawless row. I instantly decided to buy this game! I never play hack and slash but this game is amazing.
One of the reasons for me to buy this game was to support the on-going work of production. I hope you make good use of every cent, this game deserves finishing and hitting the store shelves.

I'm telling everyone to try and buy this game. Keep up the good work!

Signed up on these forums today, got the full game after playing the trail for a few days and fell in love with it. i think that the work that has gone into this game is amazing and a very good job. Keep up the good work

Hello,

Many thanks to Armagan, Ipek, and everyone else on the development team for a brilliant and innovative game!

For me, it's been quite a breath of fresh air in the gaming world of today, and at the same time, has a classic feel that has been almost impossible to find in recent titles.

I grew up playing the old RPG's of the 1980's, ie: Ultima, Wizardry, Bard's Tale, AD&D. While I won't deny that some games today can be quite good, very few earn that special place in my book that these oldies hold. However in only one week, Mount & Blade already has.

My compliments and thanks to you all!

P.S: I should also mention that I haven't experienced a single bug, glitch, crash, freeze or anything of the sort in the week+ I've been playing. I've noticed many people saying the same though, so this is probably not news to you.

Hi all, Pepeshka from Vancouver, WA here.

A big thank you to the developers of this awesome game! As a computer science student myself, it's really heartening to see this level of quality from 'amateur' (read: not a big software house) origins.

Can't wait to see ver 1.0.

Greetings,

30 yr old IT/Telecoms gamer from the 80's here. Found this game on a board discussing one of the best non-linear trading/RP/Medieval games ever-Uncharted Waters/New Horizons from KOEI (flag to OddjobXL & Zeno).

Played M&B for less than 3 days before I had finished 4 characters at lvl 6 - gave up and bought the damn thing!!! Loving it.

PS: I'm in Dubai, UAE-look it up on a map.

Hi

Found this game on a Guild Wars board

Looks promising, really impressive considering its a wife/hubbie co-op, love the horse-bit  and of course the whole combat set-up.

Anyways....i'm just an old geezer from Norway, havent played that many games really....just a bit HL2, Morrowind:TES, Thief II, Deus Ex, and of course Guild Wars (which IMHO is superb  )

Hello all,

haven't purchased the game yet, have to wait for my dad to get home and fix up some problems with the credit card but so far ive got to level 6 with about 10 different characters

found the game in PC PowerPlay and i really love it, ive even lessened my bf2 playing time just to play it, the gameplay is just great and cant wait for future updates, keep up the good work developers!

Greetings everybody!
I stumpled upon this game on the underdogs and i have to admit: how could I not know about the existance of such an amazing project?
Early scepticiasm ("what? They want money for a not finished version?") has vanished when I started the demo.. excellent, I gotta say... I am probably going to buy it as soon as I get my new credit card..

I am astonished.

I was first led to this game a few weeks ago, by a member in in official Elder Scrolls Forums chatroom (Magnus). I was in a hurry and never actually took the time for it. Just today he posted it again. I installed it. I fell in love with it. It is so wondrous. And wait... what? WHAT?? ONLY TWO DEVELOPERS?? IMPOSSIBLE!! In other words, I want to congratulate you, congratulations from a gamer in name of all the gamers, I believe. I am going to buy it tomorrow, as I am going to get my Credit Card.. once again, supreme congratulations.

Yo !

Found this game in a PC gamer i picked up... and thought i'd try it out... IT RULEZ! Keep up the L33T work !!
