Introduction/Hello thread

 This game is nothing short of amazing - I can't even imagine what it'd look like when it gets finished!

I can't wait until I get paid next weekend - I'm buying this pronto! I've been playing up to level 6 over and over again the last couple of days. Edit: Ok, I've bought it now. Bliss!

The face editor is really cool. I love making ugly faces for my characters; They look so medieval and authentic! Currently playing as a butt ugly noblewoman making money by lancing river pirates.

A picture of the Fair Lady can be found here: http://www.student.uib.no/~st05094/temp/cenna.jpg

Big applause to the developers!

Oh, and I heard about it from Home of the Underdogs.

Been reading the forums and playing the demo ever since I heard of it on the Rome Total Realism forums.
Just bought the license this monday and it was a biig mistake. The game interferes with work, family and friends. Now I´m treying to figure out a way to get rid of those three for the weekend so that they let me enoy M&B in peace.
Great game indeed!!!

I found my way here from the Org (Total War). I must say I"m very glad I did. At the time I did I was playing World of Warcraft and waiting for the EB mod for Rome: Total War; now it's like the best of both worlds.

Armagan, you have my greatest respect.
I found out about the game around a week ago. Whish I remember which game forum. When I decided to check it out I did so with quite a bit of skepticism. Gotta say, I did not expect to be blown away. Woe, this game is kickin. I’ve always wanted to play a game where I played from the point of view of the little soldiers of RTS games like Age of Empires or Medieval Total War. Now if I could only get my infantry to form a shield wall.

It is also a breath of fresh air to see the lack of fantasy elements.

Armagan are you a history buff? I ask because the most impressive part of the game is the combat. The way it is done shows that who ever programmed it shows a very good understanding of medieval weapons, armor and fighting. Much better then anything else I’ve seen. I am a bit of an amateur historian and have to say “I am having so much fun this game kicks a**, I am so impressed I can even express it”

As a fan, thank you for a job well done.

I love this game, but I only have the trial version at the moment. Would love to get the full game, but as yet haven't been able to overcome my mother's paranoia of buying ANYTHING over the internet. Logic and reason are wonderful things, but are useless when confronted with my mother

this is the game that i ever imagine, thanks for the great work to the developer team.

Tebrikler !!! (Gratz in english)

I loaded up the 6 level limited version for the first time, made a random character, walked around for about 15 seconds and promptly quit.

I then logged on this website and purchased a key right away  I didn't need to really even play the game to know that this is the most amazing accomplishment I've ever seen by such a small team (if you can even consider 2 people big enough to be a team ). I'm now in the process of raving about it to everyone I know. Great effort, keep it up.

Hello.

Linked to this from a Neverwinter Nights forum, and bought M&B when I heard that they would be making an editor for it... never liked D&D much but there aren't a lot of alternatives.

im waiting for the developers to return so i can buy it through paypal, i dont trust anything else.

I stumbled upon this a couple of days ago in a Total war forum, and I been completely immersed since. Buying the full game to0night when I get home.

Awesome work Taleworlds! Very impressive.

Found this game yesterday and bought full version today. Got a really nice feel and I am enjoying it. My character, this mad hussar type wench (whose name happens to be my girlfriends') is cutting up a storm and having fun.

Great work to all involved in the creation and ongoing development. A refreshing game that looks like people with passion are working on so its exciting to be along for the ride.

Great forum: nice and freindly and constructive too. Lots (too many?) of posts but usually interesting to someone new to the game. (some of your people maybe should realise that they do not have to write to every subject though)

My only problem so far: Change the bloody Q key  I don't know how many battles I've been in so far that I dig the heels into the old nag (W) but miss and get 'movie interlude' The Quest screen (Q) "We're just interrrupting this exciting battle for a moment to tell you that you are now 15% through the river bandit quest". Bit of a suspense killer but a good time to make coffee or crack the next beer.

I've never had problems with mixing up q and w.
If you do, you can easily change the quests button in options.

welcome to the forums.

Errr well it is right next to the other. Would maybe make more sense to have the info type buttons away from the movement buttons but thats for another forum maybe.

You're obviously a better typer than me or don't lean on the keyboard so hard.

You know its a good game when you lean into the corners with your horse

Heya, I would like to thank Armagan and Ipek for this great game, it has really taken me back to my Amiga days, since it is just soo addictive.

first played it last night, got to level 6, decided to order it to just continue playing, now I seem to have 'wasted' another evening playing it. soo that is $12 well spent.

Some info about me, I'm a 24 year old 3D programmer from Melbourne Australia, found the demo on the PC Powerplay DVD, and decided to have a look at it. I have always been a fan of RPG's.

I also recon this game would rock as a multiplayer game, being able to team with other players to have these huge army battles..

think that is enough for now...

What if i want to buy this game, but dont got a credit card? is it still possible?

anyway this game rocks!

Lancelot: At least here, it can also be bought via Visa Electron, which is not a credit card. (I had Nordea's card, worked fine.) If you don't want to get a new card, you could always ask someone to buy you a serial key, and pay him in cash.

I am Ziibly. I draw. : D

18 years old (19 in a couple weeks), and a girl. Ohnoes?! I'm a random quest addict. Give me an offline game with 'em and I'll play it until the cows come home, even if the quests are bland and repetitive *coughFreelancercough*. Other than that.. I like open-ended games in general, the odd anime here and there, and forum lurking. Yep.

Found M&B on the PCPowerPlay DVD last Wednesday and bought it last night. Sooo addicting. Brings back memories of Daggerfall, minus the fantasy and creepy dungeons and such (and the BUGS). Much fun, much thanks. XD

heh, yeah. PC Powerplay also has Elder Scrolls: Arena on it too... so I'm currently in Free Roaming RPG heaven...
