I humbly swear
I am up to no good I'll put up the next part of the AAR today.

Sorry for the huge wait.
Edit: Ehem!
My lord Saruman - our army to the north is making it's way back to Duneard to resupply, re build it's decimated forces and be ready to move off and succeed where the previous force failed. Thardbad WILL fall, my lord. It is only a matter of time...
Isengard is also readying it's forces my lord - ready to move off to join the invasion, and to crush the pesky armies of the horse lords that dare to trespass in our lands, and surely it is trespassing that they do. They are unbidden in these lands - we must force them out with the sword, and the spear, and the iron fist of the Uruk Hai. The white hand will always prevail.
My lord - the enemy army is approaching Duneard with a sizeable force, and I fear that if they were to attack then the current garrison would be unable to hold them until reinforcements arrive. IF reinforcements arrive, would be a...
better choice of words actually my lord, as there is a similar army approaching Isengard and until it is dealt with our forces are unable to move from there. Help will have to come from the north, from Byrig. Unfortunately, it will only be of the pitiful snaga and wildmen that have proven so...
unreliable in the past.
My lord I reccomend you move north to Byrig - we cannot risk losing your masterful abilities in open warfare against the armies of Rohan, despite them moving beyond Duneard, and the construction there could do with your impressive adminstrative abilities. The wildman Yagthak is also moving north to take Tharbad from the rebels and prove to them that Isengard is a force not to be messed with lightly. They will have grown cocky after their previous victory, and that will be their ultimate downfall. Isengard is also gathering it's strength my lord, to march on the pestulant army that waits on it's doorstep. They will be utterly destroyed, my lord, Lord Ugluk shall see to that.
Those cowardly...my lord. The army of Rohan that moved northwards has doubled back on itself - running scared from Yagthak no doubt. However, they have laid siege to the now weakened Duneard. The reinforcements from Byrig can no longer reach the town, and so Yagthak will have to come south again to deal with them, before going on to Tharbad. Perhaps the experience will improve him, or at the very least rid us of the vile wildman
animal.
Our forces engage the army of Rohan, the reinforcements from the town will help, no doubt, in our endeavour.
Yagthak, for all his animalistic ways, has some skill in arraying troops my lord. He has placed the skirmishers to either side of our main infantry, and the archers in front to shower them with arrows all the way to our front line. The gradient of the hill will surely work to our advantage as well my lord, allowing our missiles to reach the enemy far before their own can find our ranks.
Our reinforcements arrive on the field, although they are far away from the bulk of our forces and unlikely to join the battle before the majority of the blood work is done. Our archers also move forwards into firing range, and let loose a couple of volleys before retreating back up the hill - inflicting far more damage than they recieve at the hands of the enemy archers.
The enemy engages our front line my lord, and our skirmishers shower them with spears from the flanks. Our own general Yagthak desires to dirty his hands...typical wildman...and charges in on the flanks. It does however help, and soon the enemy are fleeing back down the hill in disarray.
Soon only their commander and his bodyguard of archers remain, and they bravely try to turn and fight. Heh...they have learned a sore lesson not to challenge the might of the Uruk my lord. The battle ends in a resounding victory, as it should. The prisoners we took will never see their homes again, nor indeed anything, for Yagthak took their eyes before we executed them. Barbaric. Yet... strangely commendable, my lord.
It is a good day for bloodshed my lord Saruman, as Lord Ugluk has marched from Isengard to crush the forces of Rohan that have remained too long in our lands.
He arrays our forces on top of the hil, concealing some units in the trees. The archers are in front to rain death upon the forces of Rohan, and the skirmishers are placed just behind the lines. It seems we have a common formation my lord, and one that is proven to work.
Our archers loose their shafts at the enemy forces. However, they have brought cavalry with them, and catch our archers undefended in the open field causing many casualties. It does however tie up their cavalry for our Uruks to flank, and wreak havoc upon their numbers - killing their commander in the process. That will surely make this fight easier, as their men will be highly demoralised by this fact. A unit of scouts also tries to loop around our forces and charge our skirmishers - they soon put a stop to that, sending the horsemen bloodied and reeling from the fight.
Some Eorling militia decide to chase our skirmishers, but our fearsome snaga turn and fight and with the help of our remaining archers send the enemy fleeing from the field.
There is just one unit left my lord Saruman, and as soon as Lord Ugluk's fearsome bodyguards engage them they flee giving us a predictably easy victory. No prisoners are left alive as usual.
That's it for now guys, still got some more screenies to do yet. Fairly exciting stuff though, Isengard is making a comeback!
