Interface Issues

Love the game. Been playing it for a while before I decided to hit the boards here. I think my single biggest issue is the interface in cities. Don't know if anyone here is familiar with a game by Akella called Sea Dogs. It was a 3D piracy game with rendered cities. The problem was the cities were just big time sinks in which you wandered around and talked to NPCs. Even if the visuals had been that wonderful, which they weren't, that still would have gotten old. I'm thinking a smoother interface for handling operations in cities with more options on a single screen, rather than rendered interiors and NPCs, would be a step in the right direction. Along the lines of classic Pirates! or Darklands.

If I want to rest up for a week at a Tavern I should be able to do that with a click or two rather than a very time consuming series of conversations, and timelapse visuals, over many minutes RL. If I just want to fight in the arena I should simply be able to keep fighting and betting without having to turn around, walk to the arena master, and chat with him between each battle. And so forth.

This is a pretty rough edge for me in an otherwise bogglingly addictive experience. Nice, impressive, work especially from such a small outfit.
