Wooow, this is awesome, they swing their swords like crazy while wearing linen tunics... that is rare. One needs full plate/scale/mail protection to just enter such fights in my homeland. Also the end charge shouting reminds me so much of vikingr

I think they need some helmets for more agresive fight! But with pleasure I would go there if its posible to join the fights! (btw in what time of the year are the fights ? )

that festival is now again  from 03.08 to 05.08  so you have to wait until next year

I just rediscovered an excellent video about fighting with sword and round shield, I saw a while ago. The term “revolving door effect” is borrowed from it and it allowed me some new insights concerning the topic.
