An oversized sword and souped up character doesn't necessarily make it "true" to the Final Fantasy games

To be honest, I don't think a Final Fantasy mod would work correctly within the game mechanics of Mount and Blade; there doesn't seem to be a way to portray magic very well, and that's a big part of the FF universe. At least it was back in the day, I haven't really played the series since the very first game on the original NES).

It has been discussed several times how to change the stats of the PC, if one wants to cheat.
Then, if you have 100 strength and 100 agility, what is the problem with killing anything that breathes with one swing.
The same effect you get using light sabre in the Star Wars Calradia mod (one swing = enemy dead).
But I think it is just boring.
