instructions/guides/tips on this mod?

been running search looking for some info on to operate in the field with ambush and crafting. Not sure if it is me, I did put the tools in the upper left corner  and was able to make bows/arrows but they never appear in my inventory. In the field, the team tires really fast does that change as you learn to rest more? These kinds of questions...any idea where to get some answers?
 
I'll try not to ramble.
Stay still after setting up ambushes. Once you move, your 'ambush' is over. Your skill experience increases as you thwart/set up ambushes.
I'm not sure what's causing the disappearance of arrows. Probably you weren't entirely successful with the crafting. (put up a screen, please)
The speed of becoming tired is bound to the 'wandering' skill, one of the branches of exploring. (A skill in which you better don't become a Master so you can raise it if you became lazy - though that's just me :razz:)
Resting = 'camping'. The higher the skill the faster your party gets rid of its (their) crankiness. But if you camp around too much, you loose from 'wandering'.

Got it, guess it is all experimental which is what I like, just hard with this mod cause it seems I run out of money fastest. checked out the please read before posting thread...sorry, kind of excited about this mod and ran ahead of myself...just an old man still growing up I guess  :smile:

Hey Duh,
can you explain a little about the outpost feature? I found it when camping but, not sure if it is worth setting up or what it does? What is an outpost? is it like a building or just a temp security thing?
 
You can store all your high tier people there, for no compensation whatsoever. No pay, no food and all of them happy. (Or I have a seriously bugged game.) You can enlist patrols, too. Who can come in handy.

I'll give it a go, can you build it anywhere and does it take a long time to build?
 
Takes a few in game hours. And anywhere is good :grin: You can demolish them, but that costs 500. Don't know if the fortress is worth it, though.

Ok, I take back the few hours. Seems like the building time of an Outpost is engineering skill dependent. No biggie, i hope.
I always built them at higher levels  :roll:
 
And moreover, as far as the code goes, garrisonning to many people in the outpost will eventually have them desert. A feature that is coded, but that I didn't test thoroughly.

Moreover, outpost allows you to create partols, that will wander around the outpost.
 
I had no trouble with  150 top tier troops. Think I'll "quick-raise" a 1000 (maybe more) and see what happens. :grin:
 
The garrison thing is driving me nuts, rerolled another toon just to build him up in Eng. and see how it works.

Does my companions engineering level count when building garrisons?
