Instant crash when i press camp button.

I have no idea why this is happening.
But when I press the camp button the game instantly crashes to desktop.
Anyone have a solution for this?

I just tried to reinstall the mod and still I cant press the "camp" button since the game instantly crashes when I do that.

You should have no problems ingame if you did move your save file to a new installation.

Which one is the save file then?

There is a folder in My Documents called Mount&Blade Savegames. Just open up the folder with the name of the mod you are using and copy those files.

I still cant get it to work. I just replaced the whole mod.

What isn't working, the save game files? Or are you still having problems with the camp option?

Just out of curiosity, are you using a save file from an earlier version of the mod?

Forget about the damn save game they have nothing to do with it.


When I press "camp" i see the desktop *poff* the game disappears.
It takes less than a second.

smik - sorry you're having trouble.

You're the only one to have reported this issue.

Since youv'e done the obvious thing: reinstalled the mod, there are only really two other possibilities (assuming that you are starting  new games, and not relying on a possibly mucked saved game, - which you seem to be indicating that you are not):

1. Ensure that you're running M&B 1.011 (and not 1.010).
2. Try using DX7 instead of DX9.

The fact of the matter is that this mod installs & runs on most everyone's PCs.  Chances are good you can get it to work too, but its not impossible to think that there is something goofed up in your pc that is messing up M&B alone.

Still, almost everyone who tries gets SoD to run.  It really is as simple as:

1. Install M&B
2. Patch M&B to 1.011
3. Download SoD
4. Extract SoD to the Modules folder
5. Startup M&B
6. Select "SoD" instead of "Native"
7. Enjoy...

Ive tried like 5 other mods. It only happens with SOD ;/
Ill try starting a fresh game since i did not try that.
