Installing Problem

After purchasing the game from GamersGate and installing I received this error:

I do have Mount and Blade: Warband installed though, un-modded as well. Anyway to fix this?

Had the same problem, because I had purchased NW from TaleWorlds, but Warband from steam. I got the key from steam, downloaded warband from Taleworlds, and then it worked.

Yeagh I had the same problem. I have all the mount and blades on steam. I assumed when I downloaded napoleon off taleworlds it would would work but that error thing came up. If I have to buy the mount and blade games off taleworlds and have the games already on steam then I am going to be pissed. If I have to do that how do I go and get a refund?

As I said, go to taleworlds.com, and click on "Warband", and then go to "Downloads". You can download Warband there. Then, go to "View game CD Key" in steam for Warband, and add it to your clip board. Once Warband from taleworlds is finished downloading, you can enter your key from steam, and it will work.

Make sure you install warband in the default directory aswell.
Even though I didnt have it on steam, it still didnt work because it was on my D drive instead of C/program files etc.

Im having the same problem. Bought NW off of Amazon and have Warband on steam.
