Installing mods on Fallout 3

Now I hope not just me is having this problem, I can't seem to install mods correctly and need major help, I asked Lyze but is busy. So any help?

Although i agree with Trooper; i will try to help you out.  Is your problem that you don't know how to install mods or you do know how but there not working?

Did you get them as a console DLC or on the PC CD?

1) They will most likely come in .rar format. Download winrar, open up the mod rar.
2) Now open up your Fallout folder.
3) Drag all the files in that rar window (there might be a readme, but no harm comes from dragging that in) into your data folder. It will ask you if you want to replace, generally, just go ahead and do it.

You can then go under the Fallout Launcher, select Data Files and tick the little mod box.


Note: You'll most likely need to install the ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated (spelling?) mod, as well as the Fallout Script Extender. Most also recommend the FOMM (Fallout Mod Manager). Any advanced mods will need at least one of these, so just install them (pretty simple, all of them.)

Personally I don't understand people who go asking "how to do this?" "how to do that?" "Whats this thing?" "Whats that thing?" when they are in fact using Internet. The fastest way to do this is to just: Go to google.com, write the question to the search, press the search button and voila, I found answer to this question in the first page.
