Ingame Editor?

How do I use the ingame editor? I've read about people editing stats of items in it but I can't seem to find an item editor anywhere. When I press ctrl+e it just displays the coordinates.

you dont edit the stats of items with ingame editor. you use the "item editor" for that.
ingame editor is for editing the scenes. to use ingame editor you need to be playing in windowed mode. alt+enter to switch to windowed mode.

Thanks, I got the item editor, is there any way to do a search for specific items instead of looking for them through the whole list?

The easiest way to do this is to load the items file with a regular text editor and use a normal search. You can also use that text editor to change the file (depending on what you wand), the unofficial item editor is a graphical user interface that makes it easier.
