Probably I am just ignorant, but I've never seen Porech written this way. It should be Poreč or Parenzo (fitting for being a fief of Venezia)... or am I missing something?

Hmmm... Cruger (or Cesar) once mentioned the ''town naming rule''.
Unfortunately, I forgot what he said - are the names given to the settlemens based on current countries in which they are (Poreč), or whom they belonged in 1200 (Parenzo).

Poreč is the actual name, still in Italian its called Parenzo. As somebody who grew up there (and is now on vaction in Poreč) I wouldn't mind any of these two. Being a fiefdom of Venezia the Italian version might fit as well.

I had a similar problem with Slovenian towns like Ptuj. Should we use German names, Slovenian names or... what? I used Slovenian beause there they lived the Slavs that would become Slovenians in centuries to come.

Based on current countries, however, is not a choice that I like. I prefer using the name of the native culture in 1200. Although there are some exceptions, like Al-Andalus.

We haven't added any of the major European knightly orders yet.

Really? Well that explains alot, haha. Okay. Thanks

I'd like to know more about which countries are identified as the medieval equivalent of Russia. In the Europe 1200 for original M&B there was the ridiculously underpowered Principality of Halych whom I guessed was one of the many predecessors of Russia and I'm wondering if that nation will be changed when it comes time to look at the lands forbidden to Napoleon.

town names (and all settlement names should be in the original language[what i mean is that what it was called at that time{by the ruler of the settlement}] of that time of the settlement[as cruger said to me when we were talking about venice and the kingdom of venice)
the factions will be english and troops will be named after their culture.that is what cruger said to me(i dont remember the topic, sorry)

Is this thread no longer active? I'm wondering if the new Faction troop trees will be added?

Thanks

Thread has been outdated for a while because - despite being the current mod leader - I couldn't edit it due to not having posted enough in the forum  But it seems I can now, so I'll try to give the thing a few tweaks in the following days.

I saw that you import some features from Diplomacy mod, I'm very glad to see them in this great mod. What about train troops in my castle or town? Something like Constable from Diplomacy? we have recruit system but not training? are you thinking about adding some training feature? or maybe I dont know that you already have something like that?

First page.

But I cannot see what the difference should be.

Thanks, but I already saw this units tree (I would not ask if  )

I feel there is a difference for their promotions (Highlanders can't have good bowmen, unlike to Lowlanders)
