Infinite army cohesion with own party

  2. when army cohesion is low, disband, then re-create army with 0 influence
  3. Army cohesion is now 100% again
  4. repeat forever
Basically can maintain an entire army of clan parties forever.
What's the point of cohesion in this case?
Also enemy AI can't do this but the player can, so unfair advantage.

Did you read the OP? It's about infinite army cohesion with own companions.

Disband army, 0 influence to make army, 100% cohesion full again. Loop forever.

It's a singleplayer game, the player always has advantage over AI. This seems to be Working As Intended, especially since it takes some effort to find companions with Tactics skill and then to keep their party full of troops.
 
You don't have to disband the army. You can simply increase cohesion with them inside the army. It only costs you influence if there are parties that cost you influence.

Your own clan is your ticket to high leadership :wink:
 
There's no need to disband/reform, you can add cohesion in the army menu. Also, not really an exploit since all the men are yours, thus maintaining army cooperation between you and you is not a problem, having other lords follow your orders is.

Leadership gain with clan armies only could need balance though
 
They really need to make it so merc clans can make an army with clan members as it is otherwise pointless to create parties during time of war as they always go head long into being wiped.

Seriously, clans should be able to form their own non-influence cost armies, I constantly large mixed armies besieging, only to disband mid siege because of cohesion or the idiot commander running out of food.

It really destroys the idea of having campaigns in enemy territory when an army is formed only to complete one objective before disbanding, only to have another influential lord a day later build another army with the same participants, rinse and repeat.

With this, these clan members, based on their levels/power would decide their objectives, from patrolling the borders, raiding a series of villages, or besieging settlements themselves.
