Ranks
Rank system in the regiment helps delegate command for the commanding officer. It also shows ones progress and time in the regiment.
Senior Officers:
Oberst - Commander of the regiment, taken by the Brigadegeneral Prinz Heinrich (Branok)
Oberstleutnant - Second in command of the regiment. Officially leads the regiment while the Brigadegeneral is occupied running the brigade.
Major - A major is a leader of a battalion within the regiment.
Stabskapitän - This is a special rank used within the regiment as well as the brigade. These act as assistants to the Brigadegeneral.
Company Officers:
Kapitän - Leads a company within a battalion in the regiment. He is a well experienced officer capable of leading men on his own without any aid of a Major, Oberstleutnant or a Oberst.
Oberleutnant - A senior lieutenant. Helps the company officers as well as the Major.
Leutnant - A fresh officer. Straight from the academy.
Non-commissioned Officers:
Stabsfeldwebel - A staff NCO who helps the regiment commander with regulations. Keeping the men trained and accounted for as well as keeping discipline. Also leads the NCO corps within the regiment.
Hauptfeldwebel - A Battalion level NCO. Helps the battalion commanders with all duties that needs to be done. Keeps members attendance as well as trains on a battalion level.
Oberfelwebel - A senior company NCO. Helps the Kapitän with the same things as the other senior NCOs.
Feldwebel - A fresh sergeant ranking soldier. He is the lowest of the NCOs.
Korporal - Helps the sergeants keep order in line by giving them a position to use as a guide.
Rankers:
Obergefreiter - A Veteran of war and may choose to be either a regular or a grenadier.
Gefreiter - A soldier who has proven his worthiness and has been accepted into the elite brotherhood of gefreiters. He is either appointed to grenadiers or musketiers.
Grenadier - A ranker who has excelled in combat as well as off the field. He has great skills and is trusted into the elite grenadier company that makes up the regiment.
Füsilier - A soldier who has shown their aptitude for shooting. They make up the rear of a regular company.
Musketier - A basic soldier in the regiment. This is the rank most will stay at for a while until proven they have reached the required skill set to move on.
Rekrut - A new soldier in the regiment. This man must undergo training before being allowed to go into a line battle. For if you do not know what to do it will more than likely get someone killed.
