The Infanterie-Regiment Erzherzog Rudolf Nr. 14 is a regiment of line infantry and artillery based in North America, formed on September 1, 2012.

It's high time to have some more Austrian regiments in the mix. Our initial goal is to be a small and disciplined regiment, with a focus on quick manuvering and melee prowess. Above all, we will maintain a high level of proper respect towards other regiments, only matched by the comradery within the unit.​

If this appeals to you, or you simply can't get enough of those Austrian uniforms: apply and give it a shot. ​

Regimental Rules:

Do not insult members in the regiment or in other regiments.

Do not disrespect any opponent.

Follow the orders of the highest ranking person present. Do not question their authority or decisions.

Attendence is key. If you cannot attend a line battle, please inform an officer or post a note the on the event listed on the steam group. You will be kicked after three unexcused absences.

Do not take the rules into your own hands: this means it is forbidden to teamkill someone breaking the rules (unless otherwise instructed).

Combat History of the Infanterie-Regiment Nummer 14 "Erzhezog Rudolf" - Compiled by Magyar

1734 - A regiment is raised by Nicolaus Leopold von Salm. The regiment is therefore known as the Salm Regiment.
1735 - The regiment serves on the Rhine during the War of Polish Succession. It does not see combat.
1739 - Austro-Turkish War of 1737–1739: Regiment's baptism of fire at the Siege of Belgrade (1739)

1740–48 - War of Austrian Succession

1743 - Battle of Dettingen (1743); Allied Austrian-British victory.
1746 - Battle on the Saar
1747 Battles of Lauffeldt and Bergen op Zoom; defeat against the French

1756-63 - Seven Years' War

1756 - March into Bohemia
1757 - Battles of Kolin and Moys; Austrian victories
1758 - Skirmish at Zwittau; Austrian retreat
1759 - Skirmish at Saalfeld, part of the Austrian rearguard from Haslau to Eger
1760 - Battle of Landeshut, Siege of Glatz; Decisive Austrian victories
1762 - Skirmish at Zaunhauss, Storming of Brand, Battle of Freiberg; Decisive Prussian victory

1769 - Regimental numbering is introduced; the regiment is designated as the Nr.14 (Nummer 14)

1788 - The Regiment is renamed "Freiherr von Klebeck"; Siege of Novi on the Una; Austrian victory
1789 - Siege of Belgrade; Austrian victory

1814 - Battles of La Rothière, Bar-sur-Aube, Arcis-sur-Aube; Austrian and Coalition victories. Puteani's Grenadier battalion, recruited from the Nr.14, Nr.45 and Nr.59, entered Paris​
