"Incomp. file ver.!"

Hi,

Please, help.

I was playing version .960 I think it was, and then I went to get version 1.011. I downloaded and installed version 1.011, but I forgot to export my character from version .960. Then my friend reminded me about the exporting thing, so I made a character named the same name in version 1.011 and clicked 'import' (without having exported my recent version of my character from .960) and I got a character, but I think it was an older version of my character that I had exported from when I had exported awhile ago (it was a level 20 character rather than the level 30 one I wanted to import). So, I went and uninstalled mount&blade telling it to save my save files and reinstalled version .960 so I could export that character then reinstall version 1.011 and then import the character I wanted. However, when I started up version .960 and went into the restore saved game thing it said, "Incomp. file ver.!". Please, Is there any way I can get my level 30 version of my character back?

I'm sorry. I think I meant version .903, not .960.

Hi,

I'm sorry again. I may have actually had my character saved in .960 and I thought I had it in .903 and was reinstalling .903 instead of .960. I'm not sure though. I'm trying to find .960 to install that to see if that fixes my issue(s).

Probably because you installed over the top of the old installation, which stuffs it all up.
