getting a waepon with high blunt dammage is hard. but you can get a good slashing or pircing weapon of any old bandit or troop

Blunt weapons let you knock out your enemies and keep them as slaves, or sell them for 100 gold each. Swords just kill them.

Eh. Blunt weapons are useless to me. But the item prices are a little unbalanced. Two objects that give the same defence stats have different prices. Or is this just realism?

Modifiers like "Chipped", "Bent", "Cracked", "Rusty", and all the rest that decrease effectiveness also drop the price by a certain percentage. Similarly, "Thick", "Reinforced", "Heavy", "Balanced", "Hardened", and other modifiers that increase effectiveness also increase the price by a certain percentage.

This is why (for example) a Reinforced Type X Shield costs more than a standard Type Y shield, even though they both give approximately the same defensive value.
