In need of suggestions

I know there are plenty of threads asking how to make playing the game more fun and most of the answers are roleplay or increase the difficulty (I rage too much for this option), but i would like another suggestion, most mods seem to easy or difficult or the mod is to similar. The game was tremendous fun until I got halfway through conquering Calradia and then all the battles seem the same, calvary charge infantry charge (3 or so minutes later, you are victorious), I tried to make a kingdom but I got extremely bored as I knew once I declared war I would be just back at point A. So am I at the point of no return?

Well, if you wanted mods that aren't too similar, you could try Blood & Steel. It changes the value of money, adds new armor and weapons, changes the troops, the troop upgrade setup, the graphics, adds many new features, and changes the feel of the combat.

OR you could get a mod that COMPLETELY changes things and moves away from calradia entirely. Of those mods I would suggest Brytenwalda or Prophesy of Pendor. I heard that 1257 AD is good too.

If you want a solution OTHER than mods (if you haven't already become a pro) try out multiplayer. It's really fun.

If you are bent on staying in singleplayer, or you already have done multiplayer, than the best thing to do right now is roleplay. play only infantry, be a mercenary, a tournament champion, or CONQUER THE WORLD!!!

The point of no return is only when you decide that there is absolutely NOTHING left in the game that gives you any sense of entertainment.

Well Blood & Steel was promising but after ripping through sea raiders in one hit I strayed away. I've never given Brytenwalda the chance it deserves and PoP made me rage. I guess multiplayer is going to have to become my new best friend
