Import/Export Character Question

I imported my level 38 character into a new mod, but I don't think he's training troops (level 4 trainer) as quickly as he did in his native game.  5 Swadian militia take 2-3 days before they are all ready to be upgraded.  Is this my imagination, or is this something other people have noticed?

It may have been modified in the mod.(Total xp needed for next lvl or the speed in wich the training goes) or the overal game speed is changed.

Did you have companions before? That would do it.

It is most likely companions.  Each person with training skill applies their exp separately to each troop UNDER their level.  So even if you import your character it takes quite some time until you get all your companions up to a high level and high skills. 

The good thing about this mod is that training isn't really a big issue.  Half of your upgrades/training are done in towns, and the more basic unit train up quickly enough by themselves.

I've always wondered this, but since you export the character's exp when you export them, does that mean that you can adjust their level? For instance, if I change the exp of my Level 29 character to 0, would he delevel back to level 1? Doesn't really make a difference, gameplay wise but for those who're trying to circumvent the level 7 demo limit without using a crack ...

Edit: Holy snitzels, it actually works. TaleWorlds might wanna patch this up, lest they wish to see their revenue go down the drain.

I remember hearing that you couldn't.
