I did this once and had a pretty boring game. Might as well edit all stats to max.

I play (day 460) with an imported char...  In my current gameplay the maxed char is Tuvok the older brother of elensil who is considered unmatched by anyone in anything. At day 666 he will be eaten by a giant dragon who was sent by the devs gods to balance the world. Then i will resett him with a new char, one who is zero at everything and just got to adulthood and is given the kingdom of Numenor to rule (which consists of a heavy army that is rather expensive and only has the fiefs ansen lodge and kaveraid)... also i will put all the game options to the highest possible, for the extra fun and to show the incompetence of the youth who has a small kingdom handed to him and who was never supposed to be the chosen one :grin:DD

This way I  bet that my customized fun will be even greater than working your ass up, cuz maintaining a certain lvl and working yourself up will makes this game  even more realistic  maybe i let him start out at lvl 18 with 0  skills + 0 in anything else

woah that will be a true challenge and i ask myself how long the companions will put up with that kid who isnt good at anything XDDDD

I've just finished 3.61 playthrough. It's time to ruin all the fun and use an imported char for a new game.

My character name is Little Girl and she is good at... well, she looks cute!
30i9ldl.jpg

She starts with zero stats and skills.
To balance this, she already has -10 stat and skill points. Yaaay!

She also has 0 profficiencies and -1000 mastery points.
To balance this, I gave her 699 points in Firearms. Haha! She will be like a god with that non-existing pistol.

Check this out, I gave her 10000 exp as a starting advantage!!!

Beware, miserable Pendor! Let your pathetic lords shiver in anticipation of their Last Days.
Here comes the Little Girl with her Napoleonic ambitions, and nothing (except for bandits, adventurers, raiders, noldors, patrols , cattle and kings) can stop her.

Indeed, beware of the cattle!

Do you do any damage at all with 0 str? Like .......... 5 damage? lol

I tell ya she will become Xena... one day... That girl is definetly OP and if you give her some desert eagles from another mod she will basicly be like a weak terminator XD

Yes, essentially a "NewGame+" is cheating as one can do with with a new character instead of one that has already completed PoP (or any other module for that matter).

To each his own. I like the idea of my character (Nickolas) running around in Pendor again with his skills, although I'm having a normal game off to the side.

However, to emphasize, to get the true Prophesy of Pendor experience play through it normally first. Then do whatever you want afterwards.

I recently started playing an imported character. I was tired of the situation I was in as a Ravenstern lord. I felt stuck, I also wanted to try a different companion setup. But I was very happy with my character build, and I'm excited to experience the late game and all it has to offer, so I decided to export my character (lvl 33). I'm having alot of fun running around with only the six companions I'm gonna give fiefs to one day to level them up a little bit (mainly for Pathfinding).

I don't have trouble with level scaling. Why would I, I am high level with lots of money and elite companion warriors.  I'm running around grinding honor, exp, relations, stopping at villages to see if they need training, doing quests for lords that are worth doing. I'm gonna join a knighthood order and rise in their ranks.

I did drink one elixir and I regret it a bit. I'm having fun with my imported character but I really recommend avoiding all exploits (like the elixir one, and the books I guess, achievements can't be avoided).

Oh, one thing off topic. I ran into Boris the Raven and his Ravenspear knights 150 men strong. I decided to see if I could kite him to some help. Came upon King Gregory IV rather quickly. We came out victorious, and I got my qualis gem from Boris. But hey, it seems like Kodan Ironsword was accompanying King Gregory, and he only has 15-20 men after the fight. I soloed him and got another qualis gem .

What happens if i import a male character into a female campaing?

I would act as if it would be her son or something (ignoring the fact that the world moves incredibly slowly), or her brother to keep it more realistic, say, she died in a heretic invasion and her brother took over the kingdom.

How would that work out?

I think your character must have been created with the same name as the exported character. But you can try.

Edit: Yeah because you're never asked which character to import. It just fetches the character automatically. If there is no exported character who's file has the same name as your character then it won't import anything.

Another twist you can do is to change the stats of your companions.

I usually pick the same bunch of saps to be my permanent torture dummies. So for the past few months or so, I changed the starting level, stats and gear for them all, to about level 1 (I just copied Leslie, than zeroed out anything but power strike/draw/riding/horse archery). I also changed their gear to something like leather armor and a dagger.

I should change that elfie's name to Nonlethaldrin.
