This is nitpicky, but when the game is finished, it'd be nice to only see "new enemy has arrived" and "reinforcements have arrived" when they have actually arrived.
I'll start a character and I'll go to battle against 6 river pirates. After killing all but one of them, the screen will say "new enemies have arrived". I'll kill the last bastard and the fight will end. Where's the new enemy?
It's just sort of annoying, since the notification starts to mean nothing when you're never sure whether it's telling the truth or not. The only other way of telling would be to crank the combat size up to max so that neither fighting party has any units in reserve, and then just start counting the number of deaths until the end of combat... I'm not talking about implementing a ticker, but the "new enemies arrived" should mean something...
