I'm level 43.. Dshar are sieging one of the last 3 castles of the kingdom of sarleon.
My strength is 39.. my agility is 40.. my intelligence is 9..my charisma is 30.. my honor is 465 and my renown is just over 8000.
I tried to start my own kingdom by the noldor forrest by taking stormshield castle.. Uncle Aeldarian and Ithilrandir helped me have it and together withem I was going in battles with dshar huge host of army when they were around my castle trying to besiege it. We won a few times but they kept coming back.. and I was sending my companions to ask for peace. And ofcourse they wanted to continue for the sake of honor.

I lost the castle.. I lost my army.. Im out of money. I don't have access to any town..all my enterprices are under their command.
Now I can't send an emmisary.. The lords of dshar ask for 100.000 dinars for peace.. and I don't know what to do now.
I can kill 80 brigands at once when I had the nolrod armor..but I stashed it at Rane for now. Cus this situation is kinda delicate .. don't want to lose all my lordly equipment.

What do you guys suggest I do?
Will dshar eventually make peace with me?

Swear homage to one of the remaining factions to get a de facto peace and help in the likely event of further conflict.

Follow the tournament circuit for quick denars.

Or just keep beating back the desert storm and try to gain ground, with stats like that you presumably have access to top tier gear and troops in large quantities even if you're currently on the back foot (unless you cheated, in which case time to cheat some more I guess)

I wanted to do that.. I was going to king Ulric of Sarleon but the option doesnt appear.. my relation with Sarleon is at 100 cus I've been rescuing their lords in castles. I have top tier equipment yes..but I won't have the income for the troops and where to sell the loot other then the villages. I'm bad at fighting with the lute and falcion. I can barely kill the 6 city guards.

I haven't cheated.

I concentrated on strength and agility to level 30 cus I knew PoP is very demanding.. Then I was using the quasis I got from the tournament in noldor and chest from rane and the red brotherhood hideout for the Elixir..

I could try and be alone and wait months and months and do the tournaments in Nolrod..tho they give me only 7000 dinars and some equipment which yes I could sell..
Ooh what a situation

I have been in that situation before (but with the Fierds) ...

From what I understood, other monarchs won't accept you as their vassal because you are technically still the ruler of your (now destroyed) real. So they see you as an equal, not a potential vassal.
Could be that your RtR is too high has well.

I personally deleted that save because I was pissed but I would be really interested in knowing a way out of this too, since it will probably happen to me again...

Is there nothing coded where once I've been utterly defeated that I revert back to being of a mercenary leader status ?

I think I'll try and avoid trouble with the D'Shar and collect 110k dinars.
Hopefuly once I make peace I'll be able by some miracle to join them then build my relationship with the lords and rebel.
If I can't join I'll build my relationship with all the lords and concentrate on building up my relationship with all the villages. And go solo once again.. Or ask a lord to rebel hsi faction and join me and use his castle or town.

I wonder if I could just fill the towns with recruits and be safe.
The only problem I have is income.. If I had income. A manor system like in AD1257 then I would feel much more safe.

You can ask a Sovereign to accept you as a vassal via the ''send emissary option'' from your walled fief.
If you don`t have one, you should have enough juice left in you to take one fief for just enough time to dispatch the emissary.

Idk if the following will apply to the current patch so take it with a grain of salt.

You're currently on your own right? This would make it easy to sneak into cities at night, look into taverns and find your companions (your medic, specially, since u probably have low surgery) and worthy mercenaries. Once you have a tiny army begin chasing nice targets such as low troop lords (money) and high prisoner count parties.  (specially peasant women/maiden units)

Keep up with the guerrilla tactics, build up a small elite army while ransoming lords. It might take a while but you'll eventually amass an army and a good money reserve, wait until your enemies are on at least a 2 front war then tail them while they siege some place, after they take it wait for them to leave and claim it, should be easy to snipe away with minimal losses. Don't worry about keeping it tho, unless it's on a good spot like Laria

Hopefully they will feel the pressure of multiple wars and sue for peace, try your best to get a 1000+ garrison. Recruiting prisoners will be your main source of troops for the time being, the Jatu plains are a good spot for that.

Wouldn't be a safe grind. But I can try.. The Jatus are the most dangerous.
I'll see what I can do.
I might be able to rescue D'Shar lords in the Sarleon Castle and get honor and get better relationship with D'Shar that perhaps will lower the amount of money I need to pay them.
As for now I don't think D'Shar would ever make peace with me.
I know now that I'm not yet ready to become King.

Might send more heroes to spread the word that I want to be king for that right to rule.
Then get to 500 honor to get 1+ Charisma.. Win against a few invading armies for intelligence.
I want to get more persution skill and then persuade a lord and get their town and castle and then try my best and survive.

UPDATE:
I managed to get 100.000k by killing all kinds of bandits around Ethos all alone and going to sell stuff there unchallanged.
I made peace with the D'Shar... Now I'll concentrate on having better relationships with the lords and max out the village relationships. All Ravenstern villages are 99 with me. So I'll go down to improve the villages relations from Javiksholm down to Windholm.. Then around Sarleon and Laria.

I'm level 44 and soon I'll be level 45.. my one handed proficiency is at 602. With a chipper runed sword I can cut through anyone and everyone like butter.
I need to improve my persuasion skill to 10. I'll be trying to trigger some invading armies. Maybe I'll get a qualis gem to use for the poition of intelligence.

I raged quit.. Snake army destroyed me.. I lost another strength stat.. and the runed sword was taken from me and I cant join any knighthood order.
I deleted Warband.. Gonna concentrate on making my racing game and transforming my province from LiDAR data point cloud to 3D mesh and make a 1998 gfx era racing game with cars of Gran Turismo 2 and with decend sim based driving physics.. Eventually it will be the cutest racing game ever.. Hopefully one day it will be a mmo racing game.

That was a kind of interesting read. Never expected someone with those stats to be pushed to the brink of defeat.

I generally focus on making my hero a commander instead of a 1-man army, cause troop wages can make or break your game (as you found out). So I give him just enough stats to not be completely incompetent in a situatiuon where he might have to go up against foes alone, but after that it's leadership all the way. I prefer to let my troops do the work, it's not Diablo after all, but an army based game. Although PoP tends to play more like an action adventure at times  :shifty:
