I'm ****ED if I can't get this to work

ALRIGHTY THEN.

This time it's my windows movie maker acting up. I'm trying to import videos I made of Mount and Blade into movie maker but it crashes everytime. Is there a free downloadable movie maker better than the windows one?

Maybe you could try shutting down other applications/programmes you've got on? :???: Too many of those might hamper performance, so if you've got MSN or something like it activated you might want to shut them down.

I've heard people complain about fraps being slow.
You should make sure to close all running programs (except M&B and fraps obviously).

Also try recording a small battle with a few men and compare to larger battles.
If it's simply a question of how good the performance is, then there's probably not much else to do
but turn down graphics and battle size while recording.
But also check the recording options (if any) in fraps and see if performance can be improved (like turning down screen size, sound quality etc...)

Or find a better program than fraps...

Yes, I had only FRAPS and M&B running.

I don't show them to you guys because they are bad. I did not try yelling at it, threatening it or shaking my pee pee at it.

Recording one person and it's slow - doesn't sound good  :???:

I only know (but haven't tried) wegame, as a free recorder:
http://www.wegame.com/download/

Another popular one is Gamecam, but here are restrictions and watermark if you don't buy:

When it's done obviously. I've barely started it due to the game cam problem.

You know, surprisingly enough, that works for me.

I smack it around a bit and threaten it, and the computer immediately starts working.

Anyway, Folthie, this one's got me at a loss.
