I'm done: Episode II

Lost-Lamb

Archduke
Hello everybody!

I'm Lamb and it's been 3465 days since my last resignation.

While that one was borne of my pettiness and general animosity against the powers that be, this one stems from the inevitable change of the community.
Taleworlds has grown up to become a real studio with publishers, employees and responsibilities and as such what worked in the past (the administration being a bunch of wankers ) really just isn't acceptable anymore.

Thus we come to my predicament, those that knew me before, knew me as a cantankerous miserable git. Those that personally know me today, know me as a cantankerous slightly less miserable but substantially older git.
I'm not going to take myself nor the community any more seriously, hence it's time for me to step down.

Unlike the rest of the old guard, nobody asked me to step down. Hell, nobody even suggested it. It's just time, it's not my community anymore.

Guess that's pretty much it, and just as a pre-emptive measure, because I know you lot are twats:

Much love to you all!

If there's to be a retirement party I'd appreciate an invitation.

Probably a good call though, at some point it just can't be fun anymore.

This saddens me more than any of you can possibly know.  At times, my fondest wish was to emulate the Lost Lamb.

You certainly live up to your new rank bud. New members who are unlucky enough to stumble into the AG will hear about the days of old for years to come.

I can't remember the last time I saw Lamb in leopard-print. We should show that to the new members in AG, to set proper expectations for their time there.

Yeah yeah, you haven't posted since 2015 anyway.
The last few years LL only posts to tell us he's not going to post anymore. That is so post-modern.

Seriously, reverend - and pardon the slight necro - perhaps if you were an active member of the community you wouldn't be complaining that it had changed. But what did you expect? This ceased to be your community when you left the first time(s) around, and now you're complaining it has changed? I've left several times myself for various reasons, and the longer I stay away the more differences I notice. But what of it? I just came back from a two year hiatus only this month, and that was because I suddenly got the urge to play Warband again (my hiatus was not just from the forum, but from Warband as a whole - mods and all), and yes things have changed - but not really. I joined in 2005, but I still get the same vibe from the forums. It still is the same community for me, so what has changed for you? We may have changed the curtains since you last were here, and moved the coffee table closer to the other corner, but beyond that... :???:
