I like this idea... it could also cut down on the same bugs being reported in multiple threads (like what I'm seeing with the horse disappearing act bug).

Well, instead, it would be much better to licence a bug tracking app like Solobug we've been using for E5 (http://www.seapine.com/solobug.html).
Provides very convinient way of keeping up bug database, emailing them, etc. W/o it, bug management in E5 would be a hell... it's very nice program.
Since it's still in beta, it's would come in handy.

I like both ideas. [gooner goon]smartbomb's idea is probably the best if the devs don't want to spend any more money than they have to. Balor's idea though would probably be best if they have a little extra scratch to throw around.

Maybe use smartbomb's idea until M&B is closer to release, then license some software for rapid fixes?

A bug tracking application seems to me more trouble than it's worth. It would make sense for large teams, but I am single developer and it's much easier for me to go and fix the bug rather than hassle with bug tracking.

[SA]smartbomb:
Thanks for your suggestion. Maintaining a thread of bugs would certainly be handy for me and players. However, that will be quite a bit of hard work for you, and I can't ask you to do that. But if you decide to try it out, it would be useful.

[SA]smartbomb:

Seeing your other post in this thread, I changed my mind over this. I'd rather not have you compile a list of bugs. You seem to consider everything that catches your eye a bug. Thanks for your suggestion but I don't think the game would benefit from that. I know that your intentions are good, and I thank you sincerely, but we are a small team and there's no way we can meet the standards you have for the game.
