My dad's side of the family is one, huge, anger-deranged form of asshat. My dad controls it better than them, but it's still pretty bad. I don't have it much at all; there's still a short temper compared to most people. My dad must have it better because he was in the Army for a few years, but his brothers are really bad. My uncle Kirk got jailed because he beat up some lesbians in a bar. My other uncle Brent tried to attack my mother when I was an infant; but some very nice strangers restrained him. My uncle Russell is just a total prick to be around in general. Hell, he's even racist.

In complete contrast, my mom's side of the family lives in Germany and are very polite (which is probably why my mom worries about my manners so much sometimes), and are awesome.

Mine are fine, but when I was in Russia I had a friend who hated his elder brother (the hate went both ways) hated to the point that my friend cleaned the toilet with his brother's toothbrush and then peed on it... And he did that openly

Everybody is crazy or knows crazy people. So what. My uncle cut off his ear and fried it up and ate it with some eggs. HARAR. Is it true? Who cares?

While personally, my whole family is incredible and I am loser of the bunch, my friends have some pretty ****ty parents.

My friend was ASKED by his mom to come live with her. He lived on base in Cali and his mom only lived like 15 mins away (in her mansion sized house) so, he agreed to it. Recently however, his mom was arrested for drunk driving, destruction of public property, blah blah blah and everytime this happens, he bails her out of jail. How does she repay him? She's charging him rent and claiming he owes her somewhere in the vicinity of $10k for his truck (that he already paid her for... twice).

There are more incidents like these and anytime my mom and I get into an argrument over something, I think about how much worse I could have it.

Yeah...All my close family are great , except my sister has wild PMS tantrum's every 5 seconds...

But on 1 side of my relative's they like their drink's a tad and half to much. All of them probably getting near drunk every night , then the other half is great and polite , etc ,etc very friendly people.

Still , i could do MUCH werse off aswell.

Well, my mother has some issues. She's totally paranoid about computers, which causes problems for the whole family. It doesn't stop there, though; She's told me a few times that she thinks her co-workers are tapping our phones (She's a music history/singing teacher in a music-oriented high school) and that random people occasionally break into our home, not to steal things, but to move stuff around just to spite her. She's also very disorganized, so our entire apartment is just this huge mess with her papers and stuff lying around all over the place. She's cool otherwise, though.

My sister is kind of a ****, I called her up a few weeks ago to chat and see how she was, which was apperently bad because she openly admitted to attempting to drown me when I was little. She also mentioned how she should have thrown me out of a window or something.

The insanity trait runs my family, I'm the best one off, I still have a somewhat sound grasp on logical thinking.

my parents-in-law to be, of my lovely fiancee, are the most ****ed up morons ever. they're both artists of good talent, but are the most conservative, paranoid, delusional ****s ever.

they've two brilliant children, one who is this quiet musician, and my fiancee, who's this quiet little hippie girl, and they treat them like ****.

always guilt tripping them into not leaving the house so they can get rent and not have to work,

always accusing them of being on drugs with no evidence at all other than the fact that the two kids are really skinny,

and they both claim to be psychic and are constantly making up what they believe they read out of our heads.

i went over their one day and they gave me this huge lecture as they claimed they had read out of my head that i had been taking alot of drugs and based this huge lecture around what they thought they had read out of my head... (and i was thinking about videogames, food and sex! wrong mr magic man)

when my girl was about 16, they read her diary, and read a part about how one of her friends had died, which she had not told them about, as they are stupid ridiculous people who would of hassled her about it and made her sad. so they threatened to take her to a shrink, put her in a mental instituion, claiming she was an isolationist who was full of anger and saness who would 'be sure to snap soon and kill herself or take it out on others'.
****ing crazy people.


my parents, on the other hand, basically all my family both sides, are relaxed bohemians who i love ever so much.
