I'm quite sure this has been posted already

And it didn't work just because it was a poll, i reckon it was in Zendar town square.
But anway, I'd say the AI as a whole.

yeah i agree with freebird, i just voted for one, seems everyone is voting for enemy AI, i always thought the ememy AI was pretty good, when attacking them they always find a decent ground to defend from, and many a times an arrow has come from no where and hit me right in the face, if anything with the AI it should be your allied siegeing AI, i went for bigger maps, i'm pretty happy with the battle maps, would be better if the world map was bigger, sure i heard someone talking about extra continents, that would kick arse, hopefully we will see something like this in the sequal, then they could have ship battles, i think the engine would run fighting aboard a ship pretty well

You are missing the Party & Inventory screens. Not the prettiness of it, rather the functionality. I'd love to be able to click a "Next" button when viewing a Hero's stats or inventory to get to the next Hero.

theres a post somewhere with a screen of the new inventory for 1.0, looks pretty good, dunno what else they've changed, good idea with the hero's, its a farse having to look at there weopons, then there stats, then come out and talk to another hero and do the same, but in a way i like the idea that you have to talk to them

I'll add that, thanks... and oops you can pick three?

On my opinion I think that the enemy AI is fine... Maybe they're just playing with a lower difficulty? My difficulty is like 265% (Including the Battlesizer) and the AI is SMART!

I wouldn't personally go with textures because my computer sucks and I already play the game on the lowest visual settings.

The enemy AI will never be as good as people want it to be (i.e. perfect), but for the moment it is functional and provides for some entertaining 'lol' and 'wtf?' moments, so I think its fine as is.

The interface is good (or maybe I'm just used to it after playing for the past seven months?) and the animations are functional... I mean who really needs twenty some odd ways of showing somebody dying?

I don't really understand the simplicity option... what should we make simpler?  It's already easy to get the hang of.  Very nice learning curve, IMHO.

It'd be cool to have the Battlesize Changer built into Native, but its easy enough just to download and use.

Again, I don't understand the "Faction Aggressive hostility!" option because I find the map AI to be plenty aggressive, when they have an advantage in numbers or quality of men.  It'd make the game very boring and frustrating if the AI was constantly sending kamikaze missions after your party.

The latest map is plenty large.  It could be prettier with a larger variety of interestingly shaped geographic locations, but its large enough and does its job well.

And the party and inventory screens are... functional.  What more would be desired?

The ONLY thing I RILLY RILLY RILLY RILLY SUPER DUPER RILLY would like to see is a ton of new armor and weapons types, or at least new graphics for the various rusty, chipped, balanced, heavy, etc. item types.  There is already some variety, but I love playing virtual dress up with my characters.  Adding the option for a player to customize specific pieces of armor, or weapons, would be fantastic.  I know I could just learn to mod, but it'd just be a blast to have a visual customization option built into the game... or for there to be four or five times as many items as there currently is.

In my opinion I'd like to see a way for a player to start up his own kingdom and as he conquers castles/villages, be capable of turning heros that follow him into lords with their own armies. Though with 1.0 coming out already I doubt something of that nature would be worked on so I voted for enemy AI.

As for samoht's comment about the death animations I disagree with that. As it is I charge on my horse and cut a guy and he dies. I get blood on my hand and sword and the guy is bloody where I hit him at and lays crumpled on the ground in some weird manner but personally I'd like to see more... if I charge a guy and hit him with a spear I want to see the spear go through him, if I slash someones arm I wanna see that thing fly off, same with their head. Or if I shoot someone with an arrow I'd like to see it go through them rather then just stick out of them. Idk might just be me though ^_^

How about an option to improve STORY.
Currently the main story is to put a king/queen on the throne of all calradia. But the little stories (quests) are just to go somethere, do something and return.
While for me it is not necessary to be the king (I know many disagree) I would like to have more uses for my companions (I hat a suggestion for that in The Privy Council).

So my vote so far is:
  • Enemy AI! - While the AI isn't bad I would like to see some improved tactics like a cavalry charge and set pikes.
  • Weapon/armor variety - I would like to see more armor with heraldry, especially during a rebellion with both sides made of the same troops it is confusing.

Faction Culture, aside battles calradia is dead.

Diplomacy between factions and before war parties engage ( battle terms) would be great.

object variety in the battle grounds

ahh what the hell i have an entire list.

Well it could at least navigate around obstacles and not blindly bump into trees, rocks, and walls. The troops run towards the enemy in a straight line, pathfinding AI only kicks in when they run into an obstacle, which in my mind isn't exactly the best way to do it. It's really disheartening to see a horseman charging at some infantry on a completely flat and empty plain with only a single tree in sight. And guess what, he runs headlong into that tree, stops, and starts turning left and right trying to find a way around it. Come on! We don't need to have armies of Einsteins, but even cockroaches are smarter than that! And that's not even getting into the whole "go up the ramp, you twit, not under it!" siege thing.

not to mention the ability to look at all characters in town without having to go to the world map to look at hero characters.

Im pretty tired of that in  a kingdom with so much variety. My character was the only one who wasnt borned a retard. Whats the chances of a whole kingdom consisting of people with extremely bad social dissabilities? instead of three options in the polls, let us vote three times for better AI

on the note, incredeable that a game with so dumb AI can be so great!
