nope but if you want renounce your oath and get that castle listen up!(this does not allways work as the new owner might get there first)

1)empty the Garrison but leave the prisoners! (except any nobles you may have imprisoned there take them with you if you used the realistic save without quiting setting as nobles make a pretty penny when ransomed)  (nobles at step 5 cant not be requited into your army!)
2)renounce the oath
3)piss-off a village near the castle (force supplies and steal cattle should get them to hate you) or pounce on their pesants and when that faction is then an enemy jump to step 4

4)try to get to the castle before before the new owner does! and you will likely not have to fight for it!

5)if you do the prisoners can be requited to join your army with no morale impact!
so if you was busy rounding up say 100 bandits and filing the dungeon before you renounced the oath you would have 100 meat Shields
but if you filled the prisons with elite troops...

of course you will be creating your players faction and going to war with your former lords so be ready to defend it!

if you do this this castle should really be a town and not some border fort! otherwise it not worth it!

plus if you manage to create your player faction some of the villages naerby will turn to your faction as well and these thiefs can be awarded to your party companions...

but keep the companion with the highest persuade ability for use as a peace missionary as this will give you a better chance of your former king accepting peace!

if you was married before all of this your wife will be in that castle and she can be appointed to your royal court and its from there you will be able to send out your missonary of peace
