Idea of a messenger.

You ever feel annoyed when you have to walk 3 game days just to do the task of some idiot lord?

Well heres a suggestion you can send one of your units (preferably equites-horse rider) and give him the task of reaching your destination and doing whatever you told him to do.

Heres an example: Say..your quest is to retrieve taxes from a Lord X from his village Z. You retrieve it and then send a messenger back to the lord with the money and he takes back the money you deserve...

Here are other ideas for this...

1.Your messenger might betray you, depending on your leadership like take the money for himself.
2.If he ever happens to betray you you can hunt down that messenger and take back the money.
3.The messenger's name would be renamed to "Deserter" and maybe he can raise a group of soldiers himself?

What do you guys think of this?

I think this is a fantastic idea, really functional and would be very interesting to see.

Should messengers deliver for money, or would they agree to do your tasks if your renown is high enough?

Well maybe the money you pay him to do something for you depends on your renown and if your renown is high enough he would probably do it for free.

Good idea, and perhaps he could do it for a few silver and perhaps a day off?

And he should only run away if morale is extremely low, as people should have some sense of loyalty in this game about honor and war..
