Got this idea for an archery target which would be awesome for long range longbow shooting. First you'd need a wall. From blanks or insulation bricks or whatever you can get your hands on. Then take an image for example a knight riding on horseback or crossbowman shooting from behind a pavise and use a program called rasterbator to print it on a4. With that program you can print it easily on severel rows and colums to scale or bigger. Then laminate the a4's for weather proofing and attach to the wall with small nails or pins or whatever. To keep the weather proofing you can use small round stickers that shooters use to cover holes of previous shots. What ya guys think? If I get around to make this I'll post pics. To see what rasterbator images look like you can view their gallery at http://homokaasu.org/rasterbator/gallery.gas

Why not have a dummy standing behind a wooden board that represents the pavise, and let him hold a dummy crossbow or whatsoever?

Wow that sounds exactly like what they used in the medieval times.
