Seems like the problem appears for me after battle most of the time or when im recruiting troops.

Also found out once the bug happens names can appear out of nowhere, it looks like it's the names of the NPCs from the troop recruiting menu from the villages.

Tried it but it doesn't help this problem. It's probably some kind of memory related problem as it seems to happed after then game has been running for little while and more so with more menus being opened.

The game generally loads ok. Plays fine for a while, then after a period of time, something happens, and new images stop showing up.
For me when it happens it includes faction banners on the UI, campaign map and even in battles, any new icons that are required in the trade interface (those in my inventory and on my character are unaffected), it includes high res versions of character clothing in the encyclopaedia, any clothing items in the trade interface, upgrade icons in the party management... seemingly literally any images that aren't already loaded into memory when the episode occurs.
I can't identify what event happens to set it off. Sometimes I notice it when a battle loads. Sometimes I'll notice a campaign map party has a black banner. Sometimes I'll notice it in the trade menu.
Really? The memory usage never reaches a "high" amount for me. Usually stays around 8gb and i have 32gb of ram.
I know now how to make the problem appear I think. Interrupt the loading of an icon or image. For example, while the inventory menu is opening and loading the icons cancel it and after that, the icons won't load.

Maybe not that memory use is high, but that something interrupts images being loaded into memory.

Based on what I have read and what I have experienced, the issue has to do with the loading of textures. It appears that the issue can be quickly reproduced by not letting all the textures load before switching to a different screen. So whatever buffer is being used to load in textures is probably not getting destroyed properly when switching away from a screen before all of the textures get loaded. I hope this can help in the investigation of the bug!
