I found out a bit ago that its on my dvd, in the Movies folder, as an extra.  Pretty damn scary, I think.

Don't ask, I just had to do it.

And yes, I too harbor amorous feelings for cows.

I couldn't watch that whole thing, especially when the camera was focused on Alma. It was just too nerve-wracking, since I was expecting something to happen that would scare me by way of shock. I like things like that that are so disturbing that they make you not want to watch them.

T'was quite scary. Even if I haven't played the game it freaked me out.

I don't get the last part. Does the doctor die? Why wasn't the observer doing jack****?

Maybe, I dont know.  I THINK because it was all happening in the doctors mind, so the observer never saw Alma disappear/walking around, or the room change.

Hahah same here , but i keep watching (Just stopped the movie to reply this) it's so scary , the camera effect when the image goes black and she comes closer oMFG  thanks god it's day .

I've noticed that simple shots where the camera simply shows a disturbing image for a prolonged time (i.e. 1 minute or 2 at most) is enough to unnerve most. Well, it was that way in my case at least.

Hah, if you watch Goatse for five minutes or so, it becomes incredibly calming.

BTW, none of my friends noticed that he has a wedding ring.

I couldn't help but notice that the screen in the observer's room was filming the lady, not the little girl. Made me think that perhaps it was the lady that was being "tested", not Alma...

You know the movie "Phsyco" right? Famous for the stabbing in the shower scene? Also the most boring movie of them all.. At it's original showing, they had ambulences lined up infront of the cinema because it was considered THAT scary beleive it or not..

I dunno, FEAR would probably be more scary as a movie (the game fails for the same reason most horror games do; chucking lots of blood and corpses at you rather loses it's potency when you've spent the past three hours converting people to mince with a shotgun) but they'd need a less cliched plot.

Can't say I find Alma that scary either. It's a bit hard to be scared by someone who's head is smaller than the barrel of your gun. I was more worried by the FEAR radio guy to be honest, I mean that psycho keeps sending you in alone despite already having seen an army of special forces teams get wasted, insists on chopper evac despite them falling out of the skies with more regularity than rain and generally seems to be both more effective and more determined to kill you than anyone else in the game. ****er.

Anyway, Call of Cthulhu Dark Corners of the Earth would make a much better film
